So I'm now at KKIA waiting for my flight back to KL. It has been a super long day here in this city. Technically I've been up since 6:30am while I slept at 2:00am this morning as well. Don't ask me why.
Anyway it's my first time to Kota Kinabalu and I must say, it's a pretty place to visit. Here for work and not leisure as some might think. Though I don't mind coming back here for leisure. There's still so much to do and see! I'm planning my list of to dos for my next trip here.
The people here are really friendly (to my opinion) and the city is just so clean! But I guess I came during the wrong time as the weather is just killing me. It is so hot and only God knows how I'm burning inside. Skin burn which affects innards too. Haha! But the down side about the city is that the shops closes quite early and it becomes quite dead at night. Apart from the cafes which you can visit around town. Just need to know where and which to visit that's all which I did. Visited two cafes which were highly rated on Foursquare.
Wait, do people still use Foursquare? Well I do, if I want to find places to visit but before I head out, I'll just do a Google on them to make sure they actually still exist.
I think this year alone I've flown like a whole year's worth of flight quota. It's fun at times but tiring too. The funny thing is, I do enjoy work travels. Like quite a lot. Haha. Crazy much?
So during the trip I decided to just flip open an app. Yes just 'an app' and eventually got to know an individual. Just chatted and we exchange proper messages. Not those inappropriate ones like you think. It is good to know that there are some who can carry a decent conversation without the thought of just wanting to dive into you know where.
Back to life, I think I need a trip in April to some place may it be in or out of the country but just a trip for me to just chill and do nothing.
